Mental toughness is the key to success!
Or is it?
Mental toughness is a two sided coin.
One side is characterized by being strong, durable and resilient.
The other side is rigid, hard, and inflexible.
Too often, athletes think the goal of being mentally tough is to perform well all the time.
When that doesn’t happen, it is attributed to their mindset – a lack of mental toughness.
What does this actually create?
Athletes who are hard on themselves.
Athletes who are afraid to make mistakes.
Athletes who are inconsistent perfectionists.
And worst of all?
A FIXED mindset that leads to low performance more often than not.
So, what is better than mental toughness?
